just watched i not stupid 2. and i thought that it would be just some normal movie. something that you'd just watch and forget about the next day cause its a local production and the first part wasn't very nice as well. (yes, i have that thinking and i don't feel proud. but that aside...)

but wow, i can just say that its just been added to my list of movies that blew me away and made me a changed man the moment i left the theatre. and i can only think of less then ten off my fingers now. the movie's really touching. for me that is. it kinda tugged at my heartstrings. watching the part where the protaganists fet that society wasn't giving them a chance. and i thought to myself. how true that is. isn't it true that society only condemns and seldom praises people. this applies to those "high flyers" so why not the "ah bengs, ah lians and the good for nothings"? i though to myself, just because their different from majority doesnt make them any less important then the rest of us right? and i remember one phrase vividly, they said that society calls them rotten apples, but why doesn't anyone ask WHY the apples became rotten? this is so true. we all just blame others, but does it really help? do we really, at the end of the day think that we're helping them, or are we just putting them down to boost our own ego? to stare and laugh at them as a reminder that there are others "worse" then us?

this movie struck a chord in my heart and believe it or not, i actually cried in the movie. i know it sounds wussy, that guys cry. but hey, men are humans too right? we cry too. haha. but what surprised me was that it was the FIRST movie i watched that ic ried. hmm, now that's interesting for me cause no matter how sad or tragic the movie was in the past, i never cried. maybe cause they were those typical romantic movies, but i never cried in them. and i cried in i not stupid 2. haha. 3 times too.. woah. i seriously recommend that you guys go watch the movie. it is worth the money, and at the same time we can support the local film industry so that they'll keep spinning out these great movies. haha. and i've got a damn funny for you guys to laugh at this chinese new year. enjoy.
