ok. i know its been kinda long since i last blogged. i'm so sorry la. been really lazy and slacking at home, doing nothing except dota and play maple. study also very minimal. hmmm. nvm about that. anyway ms lee and ms poh, i know you want the photos, but their not on this lappie. when i use my com i'll upload them ok? i'm so sorry. for the benefit of the others, i'm talkign about the photos we took when we went to pulau ubin like 2 weeks back. haha.

ok, now to cap up on my holidays so far. i quit my job as a waiter already. its not that i don't like my job, just that i somehow feel that i'm not appreciated there. sure, my collegues are all super nice and friendly. but the manager just totally kills the mood. -bleagh- collected my pay and i even had to argue with the manager cause she was underpaying me. now please tell me, which manager will do that? just because i'm a student doesn't mean that i'm gullible and easy to push around.

after i collected my pay, nothing much happen la. just slack around with my friends and stuff. listened to their worries and tried my best to help. i hope everything's fine between YOU and your gf now. if you need someone to talk to you know i'll be here. haha.

its the christmas period now!! whee. its the season of giving and sharing. personally speaking, i love christmas the most of all the holidays. its just this feeling of satisfaction when you share things with your friends and the people around you. i'm going christmas shopping tomorrow. think i can't get all the gifts tomorrow but i can get a few. those whom i already know where to buy i'll get them over the weekend. i don't know where i'm gonna cough up the money man. haha. just lost like 30 bucks when playing mahjong? bleagh, but nvm la. compared to those people living in poverty, i'm so much luckier.

just read an article in the papers recently about people living in poverty in big cities like the united states, the uk and australia. apparently its the rising cost of housing that lead to the widespread poverty in such countries. in the uk especially, i think 1 out of 4 people are poor and live on the streets. i seriously think japan should be a role model when it comes to dealing with poverty. according to the news, japan had the same crisis a few years ago; high property prices. but the govenrment decided to rent the flats extremely cheap to the homeless and the poor to get them off the streets and into decent living conditions. from there, they would be able to find a stable job and break free from the vicious cycle of poverty. now that's what i call successful policies. not policies like giving heroin addicts a 'safe' place to inject themselves to a high under 'medical supervision' like the policies in australia. i mean seriously, doesn't anyone see the outrageousness and total bullshit of such issues? their not dealing withe the problem. just running away from it. i find it totally useless to allow someone to inject himself to a high and then try to persuade him to quit drugs. its never gonna happen.

i guess i'll end here. my mind's fogging up and i'm darn exhausted. gotta wake up early tomorrow for christmas shopping as well. 930!!! its the holidays for god's sake. haha. merry christmas to all! enjoy the festive season. and pls collect your log cake! =)
